The journey begins

The last 24 months has been a rollercoaster of change. Work has been crazy and stressful, health has had its ups and downs, more downs than up, but the one consistent is the absolute love for my baby boy.

I am using this blog as my way to keep on track. I am determined that I will be a different person health wise in 12 months time. I want to enjoy my grandson and my future retirement.

Over the past twelve months I have been visiting a foot reflexologist- “My foot fairy” she is totally amazing. Her hands are able to totally assess my health conditions and she is able to advise what i need to do, I just need to listen to her. You need to drink more water, I try and I am really trying. She “felt” that there was something wrong with my gallbladder before I even got a scan to say so and now I am keeping the issues away by visiting her regularly as well as giving myself hand massages using the reflexology points. For a long time I have been interested in reflexology and the more I have to do with it the more I am in awe of it. It just shows you how your body is able to tell you what is wrong and how to heal it. Don’t get me wrong, I am not going away from western medicine if need be , but I like the idea of using natural products to enhance my lifestyle.

I am a 58 year old grandmother, still working fulltime and trying to be the best nana that I can for my gorgeous grandson. I aim to improve my wellness and health each day by focus on my own wellbeing, ensuring only good quality and nutritious and delicious food enters my body and I exercise regularly.
